You and your job
As the Business Architect for Wholesale & Rural (W&R) Data you are globally responsible for the Business & IT architecture and strategy for Data and Analytics. In this position you will fulfill two roles: you are the global Business Architect W&R Data in the Business Architecture team and you are the Area architect in the Data Connectivity Area. In your first role, as Business Architect W&R Data, you are a member of the Rabobank Group Data & Analytics Architecture Board. In your second role, as Area Architect, you are working closely with the Area Lead and Tech Lead as well as participating in the W&R Architecture Board. You are responsible for delivery and maintenance of the Architecture vision and Target Architecture for Data & Analytics as well as specific deliverables such as the W&R Logical Data Model, development of the Global Data Platform (GDP) architecture and data for innovative product.

• Deliver Target Architectures and Architecture decision documentation that translate our ‘Banking for Food’ mission into tangible guidance for business and IT stakeholders around the world
• Ensuring data & analytics needs from customers (farmers and large corporates), business, IT and regulators are met with sustainable solutions 
• Impactful contributions to the Data & Connectivity Area, Architecture Boards and the Scaled Agile organization of W&R as a whole
• Ensuring implementation of the Enterprise D&A Architecture in W&R

The more than 90 people in the architecture department are responsible for the development, maintenance and enforcement of the IT strategy and architecture of Rabobank, in order to realize an effective long-term direction for IT in support of the bank’s strategy – in commercial, efficiency and risk perspective. You and your talent

• At least 5 years of enterprise or business architecture experience
• At least 3 years of data management and modeling experience (e.g. DMBOK)
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field
• Experience with data platforms, data analytics and/or AI
• Excellent communication skills and proven success in stakeholder management
• Able to develop a vision and keep a steady direction
• Fluent in English

This is what we offer you

• a gross monthly salary between € 6.309,09 and € 9.012,99 (Scale 11)
• thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
• an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out
• a budget of € 750- to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40-
• a personal development budget of € 1,400-
• a combination of working from home and at the office
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport
• a pension scheme to which you contribute 3.5% or 5.5% (based on your own preference)
• 151.2 hours holiday per year including 1 Diversity Day per year
