The Tech domain Risk & Finance is one of four tech domains within Rabobank Innovation & Technology Office (CITO). Risk & Finance develops and maintains all central risk management and finance systems. Within the Risk & Finance domain the tribe Data Foundation is responsible for compliant data. The primary goal for our tribe is the development of the strategic data platform for Risk & Finance to ensure a strategic data delivery for all R&F Data consumers. This platform will be used for modelling, external reporting and internal reporting and all data producers will need to deliver their relevant data for these consumer requirements towards this data platform. It is the crucial platform to become regulatory compliant with respect to BCBS239, Basel IV and for the renewal of our Model Landscape. The Tribe consists of 8 areas and approx 60 squads.
You and your job
Within the tribe Data Foundation we are currently looking for a Tech Lead for the Area W&R Transformation. The Tech Lead is responsible for delivering the IT capabilities the Tribe requires; this with approx. 4 squads, circa 30 FTE. The Tech Lead contributes to a tactical and consistent roadmap for the squad, creates awesome teams that continuously improve with individuals that keep developing themselves and others and guards the quality of the IT within his/her squad, but also across the bank. The responsibility means, you:
Guard the integral IT approach within the area
Lead in technology in run (including vendor management), change and innovation
Adhere to IT framework like security standards, life cycle management availability demands
Continuously improve the practices of the IT staff in the team
Manage budgets and actuals and increasing the efficiency of software development and maintenance
Hire, develop and train the IT staff to continuously improve the productivity of the squad
Ensure capability building and sharing for chapter members
Focus on innovation and an engineering culture
You set a consistent IT roadmap for your area and have impact on the Tech chapter strategy
You see the bigger picture and drive the domain and area on this
You anticipate on future developments with the sourcing partners as well as IT vendors
Are part of the Area Leadership team (Triangle) and the MT of the Data Foundation Tech Chapter Wholesale & Rural (W&R).

Work experience in an agile environment in the financial sector
Tech management experience
Excellent stakeholder management skills

Experience in managing multicultural international teams
Excellent communication skills. Fluent English and Dutch language capability (both verbally and in writing);
Academic qualification preferably in a relevant field and at least 10 years experience, specifically with relevant part on the above mentioned requirements.
