Client support officer – Food & Agri

Can you imagine supporting the frontoffice in the implementation of the transactions? What if you hold all the information and knowledge which is needed to service the Wholesale & Rural Europe & Africa clients and (delegated) client owners?

You and your job
As a Client Support Officer you make a contribution by monitoring the credit processes within Rabobank's Wholesale environment. You initiate, support and monitor the quality of risk management of the various client teams, among others the Wholesale Corporates commercial real estate team, Export Finance team, Project Finance team, Food & Agri Core Lending team, Leveraged Lending team, Banking for Energy, Offshore Construction and high industry.

An average working day

Are you curious about what would be on your to-do list on an average working day? For instance, you provide advice to Relationship Managers concerning system possibilities and managing and accounting risks. Also, you are the single point of contact for clients on process issues, provide answers and/or solve complaints. You provide commercial and managerial support to internal and external client processes and act as an advisor with respect to credit- and product related issues and translation of client wishes. Regularly, you manage, analyse and report on client limits and approve financial overruns. Lastly, you are responsible for gathering legal client documentation in cooperation with Legal and play a role in facilitating the credit process and the information sharing and cooperation between front- and back-office.

You and your talent

  • Professional and intellectual ability on university level

  • > 1 year of customer support/client facing experience

  • Fluently written and verbal communication in English, and a starting basis of Dutch is required

  • It’s a plus if you have experience in the analysis of corporate customers and managing deal processes, or in lending, structuring complex financing, credit risk management and loan documentation

  • You have a strong analytical capacity with legal knowledge and/or affinity

  • You are pro-active and willing to support and offer the best excellent service to our customers

  • You work result driven, are good at organising and monitoring and have great communication & judgement skills

This is what we offer you

  • Between € 2,932 and € 4,188 gross per month (scale 7)

  • Additionally: thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance, both paid 1/12 each month

  • An extra budget of 10% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
