As a Compliance Advisor Structured Lending you assist and challenge the business in offering products and services in a compliant manner. Whether it is the topic of combatting financial crime, preventing conflicts of interest or treating clients fairly, you translate our compliance policies and standards into daily practice and help the business in creating and maintaining a risk-conscious mindset.
Get results
Advise on business deals to make sure they meet our compliance policies.
Oversee and challenge the Compliance Risk Assessment performed by the Structured Lending business lines.
Maintain and further develop a learning organization and compliance awareness.

Top 3 responsibilities
The Wholesale activities can be complex and demanding and you will have a broad range of responsibilities. Your scope includes Structured Lending, comprising Trade & Commodity Finance, Project Finance and Value Chain Finance. In this role, you:
Provide timely and effective compliance advice and challenge in relation to compliance risks related to client relationships, products & services and internal processes and strategy.
Act as a first point of contact towards the business for questions related to the full scope of compliance risk themes, and if needed consult with theme experts within compliance.
Interact with the business to ensure compliance policy requirements are being implemented and adhered to.

You and your talent
Academic background preferably in Finance, Economics, Law or Business Administration.
A minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience in a banking environment (preferably within wholesale banking) or consultant in this industry.
Affinity and hands-on experience with compliance / risk management and integrity.
Able to provide the business pro-actively with clear advice and able to act as sparring partner.
Combines analytic and professional judgement skills with tact and organizational sensitivity.
Able to multitask on several assignments at the same time.

This is what we offer you
A salary up to max € 5.655 gross per month (scale 9)
Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance and an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
A permanent contract and hybrid way of working
