You hastily go to a shop at central station. During checkout you tap your bank card at the terminal, and it beeps: "insufficient funds". You quickly pull out your phone, log on to the Rabobank app and transfer money from your savings account to your payment account. You immediately swipe your card again. This time the transaction succeeds. All this is made possible using secure techniques, such as cryptography. You help to make this happen. As a product owner of the crypto services team, you can make a difference by keeping the bank secure, connected and always available.
 

At Rabobank we want to deliver the best services to our IT engineers, and you as Product Owner play a central role in them! Our services include cloud and on premises solutions that optimize the Engineering Journey for Developers. As a Product Owner of our Crypto Services team, you are tech-savvy, driven by finding smart and creative solutions, and you do not stop at hitting a wall to improve the development process for thousands of engineers.
 

You & your job 

You know standards like PCI-DSS, FIPS 140-3 and ISO 27.001 and know your way around cryptography and PKI. Terms like integrity and confidentiality define you.
You can easily talk to engineers, architects, security officers and tech leads to find the best solutions for our engineers. Your ambition is to make and keep our bank the safest in the world. And you want to co-create your products with the clients who use them.
Together with your team, you make sure all your services are without compromise and are always available.

You work in an Area called Tech4DEV, part of the Tribe Tech4Eng, together with 7 other Product Owners, Tech Leads, Solution Architects, Scrum Masters and over 80 developers where we facilitate all engineers to work more efficiently in a more pleasant way.

The most important Product Owner stances for this role are “The Influencer” and “The Customer Representative”, as you will be part of the engineering community, represent them and guide them in the right direction. You have a proven track record using scrum and agile practises.
 

You and your talent  

• +4 years of product owner experience and PSPOI and PSPOII certification
• Proven security and risk awareness (CISSP, CISA or equal certifications)
• Higher education (HBO/Bachelor’s) or equivalent
• Experience with delivering cryptographic services to engineers
• Experienced with developer’s needs 
• Focus on system adoption and success (outcomes), rather than technical deliverables (outputs) 
• Proactive approach in improving solutions, embracing challenge 
• Organizational skills, create structure and purpose 
• Ability to create, understand, translate and present convincing value propositions 
   

We offer you 

• A gross monthly salary between €4718 and €6741 (scale 10), based upon experience
• An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly income, every month). How you use this budget is up to you. Think of, for example, buying extra vacation days or making an extra contribution to your pension.
• We have a hybrid work culture. This means that you work both from home and in collaboration with the team at our headquarters in Utrecht.
• A thirteenth month and holiday pay
