Business Unit
BU Operations (part of Corporate Center) enables other (commercial) units to successfully execute deals that are initiated within NICB. Operations delivers support during the initiation phase of a transaction and delivers after-care until maturity. We aim to deliver a constant high level of quality. BU Operations consists of 6 sub units that are dedicated to specific (commercial) activities such as Corporate Lending, Treasury and NIBC Direct. BU Operations typifies as being an open environment with plenty of growth opportunities within the BU and the bank.
The Treasury activities focus on adequately funding the bank's assets and managing its liquidity and interest rate position. In addition, Treasury works with the bank's clients to find tailored solutions to manage their interest rate exposures.
Treasury Operations supports the treasury activities of NIBC. NIBC trades in credit fixed income instruments, derivatives and structured products, varying from exchange listed products to over-the-counter (structured) products, e.g. bonds, interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, options and futures.
Job Profile
Treasury Operations is responsible for the product and transaction administration in a broad sense and consists of two teams:
Transaction Support: responsible for processing all Treasury transactions, including the product administration, transaction documentation and collateral management
Payments & Settlements: responsible for managing corporate actions/life cycle events, cash management, payments and settlements.
Treasury Operations consists of 11 staff members. The collective responsibility for above mentioned duties, backed up by good teamwork, is of vital importance for Treasury Operations.
The department closely cooperates with internal departments like other Operations BU's, Treasury (Front Office), Finance, Risk Management and Legal.
Job Requirements
Education
- a completed HBO study (HEAO BE / MER or similar)
Experience
- 0-2 year (excellent opportunity for a starter)
