Developing long-term solutions that are complex and collaborate closely with your clients (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Testers) in order to provide business value. It is also possible to contribute to our product development, InsuranceRight and BankingRight.

The clients you will work for have a large customer base that uses our apps on a daily basis. Robustness, structure and performance are of key importance. 

Working in a small, multi-disciplinary team with other teammates of Virtual Affairs, such as developers, interaction/visual designers, analysts and architects. Together you are responsible for the look-and-feel of perfect running apps. You like to understand new concepts like test driven development, automated testing and continuous integration as these are key areas where we can add much value to our clients. When you have ideas of visual components, you can always give input to the visual design. 

KNOW-HOW

  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodology;
  • Passion for technology, product and user experience;
  • Improvements and enhancements are proactively identified and implemented. Quality of work is of great importance to you;
  • Will not rest until your code works.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor in computer science, with 2+ years' work experience with Android development and object-oriented programming;
  • Strong experience with Java and knowledge in Gradle, Proguard, Android Support Libraries, Google Play Services, RxJava, Lint, Retrofit, mockito, jdeferred, Firebase, analytics Robospice or other frameworks;
  • Familiar with design patterns and architectural concepts such as MVC, MVP and MVVM;
  • Experience with united testing, test driven development and automated testing is a plus;
  • Can work and understand the complexity of external API’s.
