As an intern at Rabo Investments, you will work on strategic investments decisions with real impact and long-term value. This is your opportunity to develop your analytical and investment skills in a dynamic investment environment. You will analyse growing companies and funds from a broad perspective: market, strategy, team and societal relevance.

As a Rabo Investments Intern, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of over 50 investment professionals. You will work with venture capital, private equity and fund teams, gaining insight into how investment strategies differ across stages, sectors and mandates.

You will actively contribute to equity investments that support Rabobank’s strategic transitions, such as sustainable food systems, financial inclusion and technological innovation.

You will rotate across multiple investment teams as well as the ESG team, depending on your preference.

• Sourcing and assessing new investment opportunities (market, business and team analyses).
• Conducting market and sector research and identifying trends.
• Building and analyzing financial models.
• Contributing to investment memos and preparing management meetings.
• Monitoring portfolio companies.
• Supporting strategic projects, such as ESG integration.

During this internship, you will develop:

• A strong understanding of investment strategies across different stages.
• Analytical skills focused on markets, business models and long‑term value creation.
• In-depth insight into investment processes, from initial screening to deal execution.
• A professional network within private equity, venture capital and strategy consulting.

• Working hours: 40 hours per week
• Compensation: A competitive internship allowance

• Master’s student in Finance,  Business Administration, Econometrics, Technology or a related field (e.g. Food & Agri, Sustainability, Engineering, Energy or Data)
• Analytical, proactive and well-structured.
• A team player who is eager to learn, actively seeks feedback and takes ownership.
• Eager to learn & open to feedback.
