Finance Consulting Team Challenge

One Day, One Team, One Winner

Represent your Study or Student Association and consult the Duisenberg school of finance's Battle partners Deloitte, Oliver Wyman and PWC. Your team of 4 representatives will work on a case presented by one of the Battle partners. Battle our way through your team's pitch for the jury and claim your title of Duisenberg Battle Champions.

If you are interested in representing your Study or Student Association, contact a board member of your association to sign you up. Note teams must consist of 4 members each. Each association may enter a maximum of two teams. You must be an active member of your Study or Student Association. Only current Bachelor and Master students may participate. The application deadline is 1 June 2013.

Prizes

The winning team members, selected by the Judging Panel, will each receive a €2.500 scholarship, while one of the participating students will receive a €10.000 scholarship if accepted to any of the DSF Master's Programmes. The winning student will be selected by DSF's Admissions Board and does not neccesarily have to be from the winning team. All scholarship awards are valid until September 2015.

The Finance Consulting Team Challenge

The teams will work on one of the cases of the Battle Partners Deloitte, Oliver Wyman and PWC and will be given a short introduction on the case after which the team will start working on an innovative solution. Each team will be assigned a DSF Master student as supervisor. At the end of the day, every team will pitch their solution, followed by a Q&A where competing teams and jury members will fire questions. Dr. Zacherias Sautner, Programme Director of the Corporate Finance and Banking programme at Duisenberg school of finance, will moderate the Q&A's.
