Is the regulation going to be fixed and is Securitisation going to grow?
Besides expectations of a more efficient securitisation framework, a fully integrated Savings and Investment Union could unlock up to €470 billion of private investment per year, according to the European Commission.
The June 2025 reform package marked a turning point, aiming to revitalise the EU market by simplifying rules, improving capital treatment, and opening the door for insurers and new investors. While the details are still being digested, one thing is clear: securitisation is back on the agenda as THE key funding tool. Dutch RMBS, often called the “sleeping giant”, still enjoys strong investor demand but faces supply constraints, Europe continues to lead the way on SRT, while digital infrastructure transactions, especially data centres, are expanding the asset mix and drawing international attention.
The 21st edition of the Securitisation Event brings the answers. In one day, the Dutch and international market will come together to identify practical solutions. With deep dives and real case studies led by leading investors, issuers, arrangers, and regulators, the event offers not just concrete opportunities for new transactions but also a real debate with the audience on what will be the real future scenarios of securitisation.
