Triodos Investment Management (IM) continuously seeks to improve its product range and product offering, in line with its mission. At the moment we’re in the process of insourcing the Asset Management activities for both the Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) SICAV I funds as well as the Private Banking Netherlands clients. This is a large project within Triodos IM, in which we’re building a complete new SRI department. This new department will take over the running business from the current asset managers per January 1st, 2018.

To further build the SRI Mid-Office we’re looking for an:

Investment Associate

(Minimum of 32 up to 40 hours a week)

Your responsibilities in this position:

Until we take over the running business you’ll participate in the project to set up our new asset management department. In the new department you will be responsible together with the Fund & Portfolio Managers to manage the SRI SICAV I funds and Private Banking clients.

Next to the daily monitoring of the cash levels of the clients and investment funds, your responsibilities will focus on translating model changes to transactions for all relevant clients and funds, performing pre-trade compliance checks on proposed transactions, trade execution and monitoring on certain securities, performing the trade confirmation cycle of all transactions, maintaining the relevant client and security data in the Portfolio Management System (PMS) and be the first point of contact for Triodos Bank Private Banking (TBPB).

What we expect from you:


  • Affinity with the mission and goals of Triodos bank;
  • Proven and broad working experience of at least 5 years as a professional in the investment industry, preferably in mid- and/or back-office of a major or medium asset organization or within Private Banking;
  • A Bachelor degree (or equivalent through working experience) in Business Economics, administration, finance or similar;
  • Extensive experience with Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Fluent in Dutch/English, whereas proficiency in other major European languages is an advantage.


  • Affinity with sustainability and sustainable investments;
  • Good analytical and communication skills with the ability to prioritize;
  • A pro-active, solution-oriented, attitude with strong interpersonal skills;
  • Enthusiastic team player, enjoy to work in a small team;
  • Pragmatic, efficient, accurate, well-organized and hands-on self-starter mentality.
