Your job

As an IT Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain high-quality, future-proof IT solutions. You will collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure the platform's stability, reliability, and security. In a DevOps team, you will handle analysis, design, development, testing, and software maintenance for business process automation and support. Your focus will be on building personalisation APIs for the bank.

The team you will be a part of comprises a multidisciplinary group of dedicated colleagues working with an Agile mindset and focusing on building personalised APIs for the bank. This team oversees the entire development lifecycle of APIs. We strive for excellence, constantly challenge ourselves, and foster a positive work environment through humour. The essential qualifications for this role include:

  • Azure Experience:
    • Basic to intermediate experience with Azure in corporate environments.
    • Familiarity with Azure services and concepts;
    • AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) mandatory.
  • API Development:
    • Experience in developing APIs, with a focus on understanding REST principles.
    • Basic experience with GraphQL is a plus.
  • Programming Languages:
    • Solid understanding of Java, with the ability to write and troubleshoot code.
    • Familiarity with Python is advantageous.
    • Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot / Quarkus is beneficial, with a focus on learning and applying best practices.
  • Kubernetes Deployment:
    • Basic knowledge about Kubernetes, including understanding containerization concepts.
  • CICD Tools:
    • Exposure to CICD tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
    • Understanding the principles of continuous integration and deployment.
  • AI Tools:
    • Experience with AI tools is a plus
  • Willingness to Learn:
    • Strong desire to grow skills and knowledge, with a proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies.

We are offering

The gross monthly salary is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefits.

  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary, which you can use for additional employment benefits or receive as extra pay if unused.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year, with the option to purchase up to four additional weeks.
  • A Personal Development Budget of €1,000 per year, up to a maximum of €3,000.
