As a Product Owner within the Grid Customer Interaction & Conversational, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing customer interaction solutions that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

The role of Product Owner Conversational AI - Chat is a challenging position where you will be responsible for your own development backlog and necessary stakeholder management, working in an Agile Scrum with DevOps methodology. Our conversational chat initiatives aim to redefine user engagement by offering intuitive, dialog-driven experiences that help navigate the complexities of financial information. This role is crucial in enhancing user interaction, promoting financial self-reliance, and increasing awareness in the digital age.

The primary objectives of the conversational chat teams are to develop a platform that fosters intuitive, human-like interactions and anticipates user needs. This involves seamless integration of conversational chat across all digital channels, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness. The teams work with cutting-edge technology with user-centric design, transforming conversational chat into a continuous personal dialogue. By facilitating engaging interactions, users will find it easier to access relevant information, enhancing overall satisfaction and engagement. Establishing our conversational Dialogue a market leader will elevate our brand reputation and foster customer loyalty, setting a benchmark for innovation in digital interactions. Conversational guidance is moving towards more specialised personal advise, in all digital channels.

As a Product Owner, you are the driving force behind Chat, Conversational dialogue with Abnamro, supported by the power of AI, our digital assistant also known as "Anna." You will collaborate with other Product Owners and Business developers on innovative projects in the field of Conversational AI and Agentic AI. Recent advancements in LLM make working with this innovative technology exciting. Will you contribute to making ABN AMRO a 'conversational bank'?

Together with UX, digital consultants, analysts, and the development team, you will develop and innovate for our customers, ensuring excellent performance and risk management. Your adjustments are based on customer feedback and supported by data. This continuous process makes you an important topic owner. Additionally, you will form a team with Lead Product Owners, IT leads, and other Product Owners within the grid.

- You, along with your onshore support and offshore DevOps team, are responsible for utilizing, further developing, and managing aspects as mentioned, with the focus/purpose potentially changing over time.

- You define epics, features, and user stories based on vision and customer needs.

- You manage and prioritize the product backlog, making strategic choices to improve or expand services incrementally.

- You coordinate with other departments to best support and positively surprise our customers.

- You continuously align the joint strategy and think through the next steps.

- You act on your responsibility in case of a (production) issue or when customers provide feedback.

- You ensure all risks are well covered and discussed.

Desired Expertise in Conversational AI / Chat

- Demonstrable experience (multiple years) working as a Product Owner, with skills in stakeholder management and Agile Scrum with DevOps methodologies for product development.

- Expertise in integrating conversational chat across various digital channels to ensure accessibility and effectiveness.

- Familiarity with cutting-edge technology and user-centric design principles to transform chat into a dialog-driven experience.

- Knowledge of recent developments in Conversational AI, particularly with Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Proven track record in improving customer experience through conversational chat solutions, using large datasets, working in large organizations with extensive chat volumes.

- Proven track record in cost reduction and improving first-time right in chat interactions.

- Ability to prioritize and manage a product backlog effectively to improve or expand services incrementally.

• The gross monthly salary (minimum €6.066 - maximum €8,666) is based on a 36-hour workweek, including vacation allowance and Benefit Budget.
• The Benefit Budget amounts to 11% of your salary. If you do not make any purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop during a month, you will receive one-twelfth of your Benefit Budget for that month as a payout.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• A Personal Development Budget of €1,000 per year. This amount can be saved up to €3,000.
• The possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your role).
• An annual public transport subscription with free travel throughout the Netherlands.
