Swift IT Engineer

As an IT Engineer with an in-depth understanding of and hands-on experience with the Swift Alliance software suite, you will be part of the ABN AMRO Amsterdam-based Swift team, which is working according to the DevOps principles.
Your activities include:
- Participating in changes and new initiatives
- Providing user management and support
- Aligning with users and stakeholders
- Incident and Problem management
- Continuously improving security and making sure we stay compliant
- Stand-by shifts and participating in changes outside of business hours
You will be part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team, consisting of IT Engineers, a Product Owner and a (rotating) Scrum Master. Together with your team you are responsible for building, running and maintaining critical applications.
The Swift team is fully based in the Netherlands and works in a hybrid way.
- You have 5 to 10 years of experience working in the financial industry, preferably with a bank.
- You must have a good understanding and hands-on experience of the Swift Alliance software suite (SAA, SAG, AWP)
- You must have in-depth knowledge concerning the various Swift services.
- You understand the security aspects, compliance and risks involved in the Swift environment.
- You have good communication skills: Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
- You are analytical: You are able to collect and analyse information and draw actionable conclusions.
- You are a team player with experience working in a DevOps team.
- You are proficient working in an ITIL environment, i.e. incident, change and problem management.
- You have experience with tools like Azure Boards, ServiceNow, Atlassian Suite (Confluence).
- Experience with automation is a nice-to-have.
