You are a Head of Risk Reporting who shapes ASN Bank's risk reporting and oversight framework in Utrecht, providing senior management with reliable, decision-ready risk data, today and in a digitally transforming environment.

What will you do?
As Head of Risk Reporting at ASN Bank, you will build and strengthen an integrated risk reporting and oversight framework that enables senior management to make well-informed, risk-based decisions. As a trusted advisor to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management, you work closely with all departments across the bank and play a leading role in embedding integrated risk management throughout the organisation. You lead a team of approximately 10 professionals and report directly to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and monitor risk reports and oversight frameworks for the CRO domain, including reporting for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board
  • Advise first and second line stakeholders on effective Enterprise Risk Management in a proactive and pragmatic way
  • Drive the digital transformation of risk management processes and platforms, with a clear focus on demonstrable control
  • Ensure that risk information is accurate, timely and decision-relevant for the CRO Management Council, Executive Board and Supervisory Board
  • Lead and develop the IRR&D team of approximately 10 professionals.

This is where you'll work
The Integrated Risk Reporting & Development (IRR&D) team is part of ASN Bank's Enterprise Risk Management organisation and consists of approximately 10 professionals. Together, you work towards demonstrable control over all risk reporting and oversight activities within the CRO domain.

Your qualities
You are a results-driven leader with deep expertise in risk management and a keen eye for digital innovation within the financial sector.

  • Master's degree in (Technical) Business Administration, Economics, Law, Information Science or a comparable field
  • At least 10 years of experience in an expert role covering the full breadth of risk types within Risk Management, preferably within a financial institution
  • At least 5 years of management experience leading a team in developing, advising on and demonstrably implementing risk management and reporting frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with risk reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or GRC tooling, combined with a strong affinity for digital transformation of risk management processes
  • Knowledge of the CRD/CRR framework, EBA Internal Governance Guidelines, the Three Lines Model and ECB Climate Risk expectations including EU Taxonomy and CSRD

This position is in scale 13, with a salary range between €7,814.16 and €10,453.54 gross per month (based on a 36-hour working week). In addition, you can count on:
