Do you enjoy working with technology and enabling others to build smart, innovative solutions? In this role, you contribute to ABN AMRO’s ambition to become a truly personal bank in the digital age.
You translate ideas into robust, productionready machinelearning solutions that deliver measurable impact. You support and coach colleagues, work in a hybrid setting with a strong focus on value delivery and contribute to initiatives within Grid Customer Insights & Hyperpersonalisation (CI&H) that make a difference for millions of customers.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you work with fellow MLEs to develop and continuously improve MLOps capabilities on our central ML/AI platform. You collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure machinelearning solutions are stable, secure, and productionready.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and productionising ML use cases together with Data Scientists
- Applying MLOps principles to automate workflows, improve deployment, and manage the ML lifecycle
- Ensuring solutions meet quality, validation, documentation, and operational standards
- Aligning on scope, risks, and delivery expectations throughout implementation
- Contributing to shared frameworks, guidelines, and platform capabilities
- Supporting the technical growth of colleagues and the MLE community
- Working in Agile, crossfunctional teams to deliver incremental, highquality solutions
You will be part of the Grid Customer Insights & Hyperpersonalisation (CI&H), which plays a central role in the innovation and growth strategy of Personal & Business Banking. Our multidisciplinary teams bring together knowledge, creativity, and ambition to continuously improve how customers interact with the bank. Using data and analytics, we design proactive, relevant, and hyper‑personalised digital experiences for personal, private, and business clients.
Working with an Agile mindset, we enable scalable use cases that match solutions to each customer’s intent, clearly, smoothly, and with care. You operate in a modern corporate environment where stability, quality, collaboration, and ownership are key, and where openness, transparency, and continuous learning support both professional growth and a positive team atmosphere.
You thrive in a technical, datadriven environment and are comfortable working within a structured corporate setting with clear processes, strong governance, and a focus on reliability. You take ownership of your work from definition to delivery, collaborate easily with others, and continue to develop your skills in a rapidly evolving technical landscape.
