At a glance

Are you ready to lead innovation and drive transformation in budgeting and forecasting at ABN AMRO? Do you get enthusiastic when you hear the words creating digital solutions, managing a complex project, and driving process optimization? We are looking for a skilled Product Owner/project lead the OneForecast program and team. In the OneForecast program, you will have the opportunity to improve the Controlling community's processes with Tagetik. This program aims to enhance budgeting and forecasting by introducing automation, improving reliability, and standardizing procedures, ultimately moving towards data-driven and predictive forecasting. If improving the key steering processes of the bank sounds like a challenge to you, then this role is just the job for you!

Your job

You will be the Product Owner / Project Manager of the project scrum team (10-15 FTE) that drives and implements the innovation and improvement of budgeting and forecasting in Tagetik (the tooling) for the Controlling community in a program called: OneForecast 2.0. The OneForecast 2.0 program is a pivotal project, aiming to improve the budgeting and forecasting processes of Controlling through a more automated, robust and standardised way of working. Ultimately the goal is to move to data driven forecasting and predictive forecasting.

Next to that, you own a product that is already live and in use by CFO teams across the bank. This is called OneForecast 1.0. You make sure with the team that the monthly, quarterly and yearly processes stay up to date and run reliably. In your role as Product Owner you ensure the prioritization, planning and execution for OneForecast 1.0, OneForecast program 2.0 as well as the associated stakeholder management. Your stakeholders include the MT Controlling and the OneForecast 2.0 Sounding Board in particular. This is an important element of your role. You understand how to influence and have impact in a wide range of stakeholders and how to manage and converge towards clear choices in a high demand environment with scarcity of capacity. Together with the other Product Owners you support the Domain Lead in creating a prioritized roadmap which is frequently optimized and updated according to a quickly changing environment. You manage the dependencies the team faces with other teams and departments within Finance & Risk.

Although you don’t have a formal managerial role, informally you have attention for coaching and development of employees, especially the business developers in the team.

Working environment

The OneForecast team is part of the Controlling Domain. The Domain consists of 4 scrum teams (in total approximately 50 fte). The other teams focus on processing the actuals every month and reporting the results towards the Executive Board.

We believe in balancing work with fun, so we make sure to include social activities alongside our professional interactions. Each month, we host a casual get-together with the Domain where we share updates over some snacks and drinks. Additionally, we organize regular fun events—last year, we enjoyed a table football tournament and even tried sheep herding!
