At a glance

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and inspire a team of ~20-30 engineers. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of IT and be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 20-30 engineers, focusing on their professional development and career growth
  • Establish and maintain a strong engineering culture centered around knowledge transfer and collaborative learning
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing through workshops, tech talks, and documentation initiatives in collaboration with Front and Back-end Leads.
  • Work closely with the CTO to align team objectives with overall technical strategy and business goals
  • Drive recruitment efforts and maintain high retention rates through effective team management
  • Responsible for developing and implementing an IT onboarding program
  • Implement and optimize engineering processes to improve team efficiency and delivery quality

Your profile

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a people management role
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of (serverless) software development practices and modern technology stacks
  • Excellence in communication, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in implementing mentorship programs and learning initiatives.
  • Background in agile methodologies and team development frameworks
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal growth and professional development.
