Interim Senior Legal Counsel Competition and Consumer Law

New Interim Senior Legal Counsel job opportunity! We're looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with a background in Competition or/and Consumer Law. Interested? Read the vacancy for more information.

• Manage and refine processes for handling regulatory inbound, such as orders from public authorities and illegal content user notices
• Lead the implementation of regulatory requirements under the UK Online Safety Act
• Provide legal and strategic business advice in relation to the Digital Services Act
• Coordinate the response to regulatory inquiries related to the Digital Services Act
• Coordinate the preparation of the Transparency Report under the Digital Services Act
• Deliver compliance strategy plan for digital platform regulation NORAM and LATAM
• Provide legal and strategic business advice and ongoing support for the Short Term Rental business unit from a consumer and competition law perspective
• Serve as a single point of contact within the Legal team for the Platform to Business Regulation
• Support the content moderation and trust and safety teams with ad-hoc questions and advice
• Collaborate with the Public Affairs team on policy issues related to the regulations noted above
• Draft reports to various internal stakeholders, up to and including the company’s Leadership Team

• 5+ years experience in Competition and Consumer law, with a mix of in-house and big firm experience preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in working within an international, multicultural environment
• The ability to effectively and proactively provide sound legal advice, exercise good business judgment
• The ability to work with senior management in order to implement policies and processes on a cross-functional basis
• A confident self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Openness and flexibility to thrive in a fast paced environment
