Your job

As a Regulatory Change Expert, your role will be to support Credit Risk by setting requirements, monitoring, and coordinating the implementation of (regulatory) change topics. Your primary focus will be on the ESG and CER areas, but you will also have the flexibility to take on a secondary assignment in one of the different scope areas of the Change & Control department. ESG and CER are extremely relevant and present-day topics, and in this job, you can play an important and active role in the transition and changes that our clients are subject to.

Your activities will be of a strategic and diverse nature. By analyzing the impact of internal and external developments on current and potential risks for the strategic objectives of the bank, you will implement associated requirements and, in collaboration with others, supervise to ensure regulatory aspects are adhered to. The diverse nature of your work will consist of contributing your own expertise to deep dives, bank-wide credit risk-related change programs, On-site Inspections by ECB/DNB, and various regulatory-related activities as these are prioritized throughout the year.

Working environment

You will join the Credit Risk Change & Control department where you will work with a team of 27 professionals who have extensive experience in credit risk management, project management, change management, and consulting. This team has a deep understanding of how the bank operates as a whole. In this department, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills in various areas. Credit Risk Change & Control department is responsible for managing changes in the credit life cycle, including those related to regulatory requirements such as EBA Loan Origination & Monitoring for Environmental Social & Governance risks, Expectation 8 of the ECB Guide on Climate-related and Environmental Risks, Definition of Default, and Non-Performing Exposures. The department ensures that any changes are implemented in the credit risk landscape in compliance with regulations and control frameworks. The team also investigates and resolves any issues by finding solutions that are acceptable to stakeholders. The department supports internal and external audits and regulatory inspections & reviews. Credit Risk Change & Control is one of the Shared Capabilities departments in the Credit Risk Organization. Your profile

  • You combine a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) with 5+ years of professional corporate working experience, within one of the following fields: Credit Risk, EBA/EU-related regulations, or ESG / CER.
  • You are a structured worker, you are capable of independently managing projects. By carefully planning, aligning stakeholders, monitoring progress, communicating regularly, and escalating issues as needed, you ensure the timely delivery of quality deliverables.
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills and can effectively balance priorities to ensure alignment.
  • You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills, allowing you to convey a compelling story and convince your stakeholders of the call to action.
  • You like to pioneer in uncharted territories, are not afraid to take risks, and work well in a team environment with diverse perspectives.
  • You are a pragmatic individual who can manage large projects with ease, even under high-pressure deadlines.

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
