Your job

As a Financial & Risk Change Report Expert your focus is on serving the interests of our internal and external stakeholders: optimise reporting within the framework provided by Legislation and ABN AMRO’s Strategy. Within Finance and Risk this implies implementing Regulatory prescribed Financial and Risk Reporting in the best way possible, improving the (data) architecture, and data quality. Also, we contribute to realise the future Finance and Risk landscape so that we continuously improve the speed with which we can respond to requests from our Business stakeholders and Regulators. It is a widely defined role. Dependent on your specific assignment, your role can vary between generic coordinating and in-depth specialisation. As a Financial & Risk Change Report Expert, you are concerned with the consultancy questions around data, data models, the reports and IT processes. More specifically, you work on (i) projects such as implementation of dashboards for credit risk management and nonperforming exposures to provide tools for higher management to steer the credit risk; (ii) managing on site inspections, loan tape requests to address credit file reviews, many other ad hoc requests from the regulator (mainly ECB); (iii) data analysis, report analysis, user acceptance tests, reconcillation between regulatory reports/ internal dashboards; etc. Together with your team, you are the experts on data requirements for Finance & Risk Reporting. You reach your objectives by bringing your specialty and pursuing active cooperation with professionals from business and IT. Your autonomous way of working in an Agile environment is key to your success.

Working environment

You operate within the Finance and Risk Reporting Grid. This is a cluster of Agile teams called Value Delivery blocks. You become part of the Value Proposition Team Granular Reporting, which is responsible to ensure all required data attribute requirements are clear to source by the entities and to be consumed by the consuming solutions. You sculpt the future proof solutions for Financial and Risk Reporting. The GRID consists of approx200 colleagues, who all share the passion for continuously improving the vast set of reports created by the bank. You also contribute to the medium and long term strategy for the Finance and Risk landscape. You will have plenty of opportunity to work with colleagues outside the Reporting GRID. We are highly dependent on other GRIDs to jointly create a streamlined supply chain of correct and complete data. We help you develop yourself both professionally and as a person.

Your profile

You have a proven track record in organising, designing and continuously improving. You like to work on implementing new reports / dashboards or amending the existing ones in a priority mainly set by the regulator / ECB via onsite inspections, supervisory reviews etc.
You know what is going on in your organisation. Bringing valuable contribution towards your clients and stakeholders is a primary drive in your work. Always taking initiatives in keeping your expertise at level, as well learning by doing to develop and deepen your skills. Working from a vision, which you communicate persuasively to establish buy-in from internal and external stakeholders is what you like. Keeping direction and persevere to implement chosen solutions is what you do.

• The gross monthly salary (indication) displayed above (+/- Eur. 4.823 - 6.890 pm) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. A 40 hour work week is also possible. Depending on your knowledge and experience, you may be graded lower or higher.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
• Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
• An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
• An excellent pension scheme.
