In our department, the focus is mainly on internal business users. We do this via a number of internal web applications that we provide to our stakeholders/end users.

Within our Non-Financial Risk department, we have several teams that work on web applications alongside with great teams of dedicated Tibco & Azure developers. We are improving the application(s) to support business continuity as well as in managing technical lifecycles of the running stacks in a best possible manner.
Our frontend tech stack consists mainly of Vue, version 3(some existing applications to be migrated from version 2 to 3), Node, JavaScript, ABN AMRO’s inbuilt web components, Jest and Testcafe. In the team you will mainly work on Vue applications using the UI web components from bank's design system(and sometime also custom made in our own teams). We work on the Azure Cloud to host and run our applications and utilize backend APIs, predominantly built on Tibco Business-Works, we also use Figma as our design tool.
The team(s) you will be part of has a composition of different specialisms such as business developers, backend developers, frontend developers, and of course, a product owner. In addition to being part of this team, you are also part of your chapter of Front-end developers. Within this chapter you coach each other and work on the further development of standards and way in which you develop. Your Chapter Lead will support you in setting and achieving your goals.
ABN AMRO uses flexible working hours, and you can decide for yourself whether you work from home or at the office by coordinating this with your team(Majority of our team members work together at least two days at office, per week).
You have a positive and proactive attitude with which you tackle challenges for your team and attract ownership to you. You seek contact with the other teams, closely follow the developments & standards in the community, and are proactive in the channels that are interesting for your work and for your field. You contribute in a refinement meeting to create or supplement the user stories. Your knowledge is consulted when it comes to the 'technical' aspect for the user stories.
You have a passion for programming & unit testing and are driven to improve not only yourself but also your team. You like to puzzle with the latest technologies and think about smart applications. You take colleagues with you and you can also make others enthusiastic with your ideas.
In a nutshell, we are looking for experience in the following points
• Vue 3 - (knowledge of other JavaScript framework is a plus)
• Testing frameworks (Jest/Testcafe)
• Version control like GIT, Azure Repos
• Design patterns
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Infra CI/CD (Azure is indeed a ++)
