Your job

As the Lead Product Owner of the Bank Assisted Lending teams, your role is crucial in providing structure and guidance to achieve the set goals. You are a good sparring partner for the lending business of Financing Solutions. With a prioritized backlog and the support of the overall program, you lead your teams towards success. You engage stakeholders during sprint reviews and demos, valuing their input and influencing decisions where necessary. Your effective reporting keeps stakeholders and the Grid Owner informed of progress, deviations, and solutions. Collaboration is key as you closely work with the overall Program Manager, delivery/consultancy partner, and fellow Lead Product Owners. With a focus on short cycles and creating maximum value for entrepreneurs and regulators, you prioritize predictable delivery and execution. Working environment

You will join ABN AMRO's Product Unit Financial Solutions as a Lead Product Owner in the Credits & Collateral Lifecycle Grid of the Lending Transformation. Financing Solutions, the Credit Engine of ABN AMRO, offers tailored credit solutions to clients across all segments. The Credits Lifecyle Grid oversees credit origination and lifecycle processes, including Bank Assisted Lending, Current Credit Origination, Collateral Management and Lifecycle Enablement.

As part of the Bank Assisted Lending teams, you will help build a new lending lifecyle using the nCino/Sales Force system. You build a seamless journey for the lenders and ensures it meets all regulatory requirements. Your team builds features, which includes elements for data, process flows, organisation and technology. You have regular contact with stakeholders, including the lenders from Financing Solutions, Credit Risk and the client units, ranging from SME to Larger Corporates and Wealth. Working closely with international locations and ABN AMRO subsidiaries, your role involves implementing the roadmap and ensuring business and regulatory compliance. You collaborate with other Lead Product Owners, which are responsible for the platform (Lifecycle Enablement) and for Collateral Management functionality, Together with external partners, you will deliver innovative solutions and integrate them into the ABN AMRO environment.

Your profile

  • Thrives in high-pressure, complex environments with visionary leadership
  • Adaptable, proactive, and embraces change
  • 5-10 years' change management experience, including 5 years as a Product Owner
  • Proven expertise in banking, lending, regulations, credit risk and IT
  • Possesses strategic insight, strong communication, and execution power
  • Takes initiative and assumes a natural leadership role
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, collaboration, and bridge-building
  • Strong analytical skills, pragmatic mindset in large-scale programs
  • Knowledgeable in business and IT architecture, process design, and management
  • Provides coaching and support to a team of 14 members
  • Fluent in Dutch or English, with a preference for understanding both languages

Salary indication gross per year: Eur. 90.000 - 114.000 all-in (incl. holiday allowance & benefit budget) based on a 36 hour work week. 40 hours is also possible. In addition, you can count on excellent fringe benefits. Salary scaling depends on the knowledge and experience you bring to the job.
