We are on a quest to transform the financing ecosystem by using the speed and innovative strength of a fintech with the expertise and funding of a bank to deliver a fast, simple, and clear financing experience to SMEs. To support our growth towards this ambition, we’re looking for a Fintech Architect.

Within New10, our Tech Platform is our biggest asset in digitalizing and automating the customer-journeys of Entrepreneurs. We have a modern technology stack of microservices on a serverless architecture on AWS, combined with Salesforce as our CRM. We continue to strive to level-up our technology, architectural guidelines, software development lifecycle, and automation.

can help us scale our business! We have big technological ambitions for the upcoming years. We are growing under our own label, are integrating more with our shareholder ABN AMRO Bank, and investigating new propositions through partnerships and Embedded Finance opportunities.

Your role will be a hybrid mix between multiple disciplines of architecture. For example: you will help define the future-state architecture, doing stakeholder management with our shareholder, writing our API-first framework, assisting with automating our KPI’s, and running a PoC on making our solutions more secure.

• Creating and executing a well-informed cloud strategy
• To understand how technology can help our business growing faster
• Developing and organizing cloud systems
• Evaluating building things ourselves vs. integrating off-the-shelf solutions
• Bringing our technology to even further levels of innovation while keeping things simple
• Improving our Software Development Lifecycle and DevOps in terms of automation and maturity
• Bring your ideas to life explaining and evangelising towards our tech community, management, and other stakeholders

Are you our ideal candidate and interested to take this role and join the team? Then you should have:

• 5+ years experience in a Cloud Architect/Solution Architect or similar role in FinTech
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
• Solid experience with AWS offerings, especially serverless
• A base knowledge on IT-security best-practices
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal in English) to properly articulate complicated problems and initiatives to management and other IT development partners
• Experience with domain driven design and designing and integrating APIs (networking/VPC, API Gateways, etc)
