At a glance

The Employee Experience Grid of ABN AMRO is searching for an IT Engineer that wants to work in an energetic and lively DevOps team to optimise the Employee Experience of the whole bank. Especially in the area of Workplace and Facility Management type of applications improving our buildings, data centres and office facilities to become Paris proof, secure and mainly in control. The Workplace Management team is responsible for a lot of hardware and software technology around climate control, parking, camera platform, access to our buildings, etc.

Your job

To keep all of our applications running according to our high bank standards, we want you to:

  • Create architectural solution intents for our hardware related applications
  • Continuously work together with all our different suppliers, partners and especially your own team.
  • To do regular security checks on all our systems
  • Manage the lifecycle of our applications
  • Taking our Building Technical systems into the Cloud journey
  • Implementing, testing, documenting and keeping the show running
  • It would be preferred if you have experience in the area of Workplace or Facility Management

Your profile

Our ideal candidate is proactive, loves working with hardware, is always in control and focused on keeping it all running. She or he is able to listen to the ideas and concerns of her or his peers in order to be an effective team member. Explaining, teaching, mentoring and helping out others is what gives you energy. Our team documentation and communication is in English, that should not be an issue.

Requirements:

  • You have at minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in dev or ops and you have participated in an Agile environment, using the Scrum principles
  • You have experience in working with platforms or applications that have a hardware component
  • You have experience in gathering requirements from various stakeholders
  • You have experience working in a DevOps team and with business stakeholders
  • You know a lot about security and the cloud
  • You are excellent in communication skills with our stakeholders
