Your job
Procurement is implementing a new purchasing platform: MyBuy. This platform provides a professional buying experience for all users within ABN AMRO (worldwide) and Subsidiaries combines it with best value purchases for the bank. The objective is to be in control on spend & risk and facilitate an effective, efficient buying process for the entire bank. Transformation and implement processes in collaboration with our team is big part of your role.

You will be responsible for reporting and analysis and also propose and help implement changes in the processes and infrastructure of the MyBuy platform, Your multidisciplinary skills allow you to work across the team. The most important parts in your role as a Procurement Operations Analyst:
• Data-analyses
Recommendations, Implementations &Communication
You analyze data obtained from multiple data files, combine data with other sources, analyze and interpret this to obtain valuable information that can help drive change and continuous improvement for Procurement, Finance, Contract owners and the business. Therefore, you work closely together with Scrum teams and our colleagues from the Transformation office within Procurement. The MyBuy platform is new and hence and most of the related processes are new. You will therefore not only analyze data, but also come up with a way to get relevant information out of the system, and create new reporting from scratch.
In your capacity as a sparring partner for the management, who depend on your analyses, you are constantly on the lookout for new insights and data sources that may provide such insights. With your Continuous Improvement skills you therefore initiate discussions and share recommendations on new perspectives and you provide advice on course of action. You also share responsibility with your team to implement the decisions that are made.
Your team
The MyBuy Support team is a new team that centralizes all expertise and communication around our Purchase-to-Pay processes and systems. You will work in this diverse team, divided in different focus areas: Ordering & Invoicing, Master Data and a Help Desk. You will work in an open, dynamic, service-oriented environment together with flexible and service-oriented colleagues. You want to provide an excellent service but are not afraid to challenge and to provide and explain guidelines and direction. You are capable to help and coach your team and you are a sparring partner for the Team Lead and the Head of Operational Procurement. You will report directly to the Head of Operational Procurement.

We are in a change mode, so this requires you to be flexible, creative and sometimes ‘work with what you have’, to later return and optimize it. You are level-headed and a team player. You are not just service oriented but you focus on results and know how to assess, present, process and control possible risks together with the team.
Our main data processing, analysis and visualization tools are Excel and Power BI. We want advanced competencies with these tools, i.e. experience and proven ability to:
• Extract and import data from multiple sources
• Validate, enhance and analyze data using advanced filters and pivot tables
• Create powerful business insights using graphs
• Set up routines to efficiently repeat and continuously improve
• Single point of contact for all data regarding MyBuy
• To inform and advice the business lines, stakeholders, and of course our own team.

• Knowledge of SAP ERP (ECC) and/or SAP Ariba is beneficial and can be developed
