Your job

You are responsible for designing and setting a smooth data migration from legacy systems to the target state solution. Your role is to lead and steer the Data and Integration team according to our roadmap and to develop a practical and detailed approach for the data migrations and synchronisations. You will make sure that the required data needs from current systems to target state solutions are mapped. Next to that you will ensure data gaps and data quality issues are clearly articulated and understood, by cross workstream alignment.

More in depth you will make sure that together with the team you identify the necessary data elements and validates data migration requirements, technology and IT infrastructure requirements and expectations. Identifies source data requirements. You will make sure that the source data quality is assessed, business rules for handling source data are defined. Identifies, documents and validates target data requirements. Maps and specifies the required transformations from the source data to the target data. Validates data migration requirements with key users and stakeholders. You will make sure you understand the data flows to and from the systems and dependencies to feed data consumers. Besides the migration activities you understand how data is being updated/synchronized and will ensure the data flows from our new system to the central data warehouse for consuming parties.

Your profile

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree, project lead background combined with knowledge and experience of data migration tooling for mapping and transformation
  • Ability to engage key users and stakeholders in defining data (migration) requirements
  • Ability to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out why things happen
  • You have a structured approach to work and can articulate issues well
  • Understanding banking (credit) and/or understanding Salesforce (and/or the nCino) data model is a plus
  • Verbal and written fluency in English (you are in de possession of a Dutch working permit and/or are living in the Netherlands)
