In this role of Consultant within the Talent & Succession Management Team you will be working on this topic and much more! You will get the opportunity to directly contribute to one of our five people ambitions, helping the organisation to identify talents early and stretch their development. Through this position you’ll work closely with the Product Owner Talent & Succession Management to make impact and engage with leaders to identify our talents and to ensure successful business continuity for our organisation.

Your job

As a Consultant Talent & Succession Management you will engage in the overall activities of the succession management team. You will be the main point of contact in the team for all day-to-day topics related to our succession management process. You will also actively support improvement and change initiatives.
Some of the more specific tasks in your work:

  • Ensure that knowledge and information on succession management is up-to-date at all times (intranet, communications, T2G system, etc).
  • Prepare for the yearly process updating time-lines, information (manuals, content packs, information in intranet, presentations, etc.), onboarding HR consultants, etc.
  • Advise and support our HR colleagues in executing the yearly Succession Management process, assuring consistency across the bank.
  • Pro-active role through continuous evaluation and review of the succession management process, suggesting and implementing improvements of processes and materials etc.
  • Handle ad-hoc succession management related questions from the different stakeholders (in- and outside HR).
  • Support with all improvement and change initiatives around talent identification, talent visibility, talent management and succession management.

Your profile

  • You work and reason at a higher professional education (Hbo) level and at least 2-3 years work experience, ideally in large organisations.
  • Project management skills such as stakeholder management, powerful in planning and organizing your own work effectively, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Analytical- and data skills including an eye for details.
  • Strong in conceptual thinking: understanding situations/problems by seeing patterns & making connections.
  • Sharp in organizational sensitivity by having an eye for interests and forces within the bank. Can handle sensible and personal information.
  • Actively focused on achieving concrete results. Combined with a pro-active, flexible, energetic and enthusiastic personality.
  • Able to communicate and work in English on a daily basis.
