IT Engineer – Senior Azure/Linux in Financial Markets

The Financial Markets grid provides access to the financial markets with a wide range of custom-made services and solutions for risk management, capital market products, investment products and financing products. Our clients are institutional investors, multinationals, private banking clients and ABN AMRO’s own ALM Treasury department
Your job
You will be part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team, consisting of IT Engineers, a Product Owner. Together we are building, running and maintaining the Murex platform.. As a team we support the whole development process from requirements gathering to business implementation of the functionality that was requested. As an IT Engineer you will be involved in all steps of the process, with special focus on gathering and safeguarding non-functional requirements like performance, stability, reliability and security of the system.
Working environment
Your working environment will consist of a small DevOps team (6-9 persons) responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of the Murex platform to automate and support business processes. Thanks to you and your team crucial bank processes can be executed efficiently and securely, even when bank employees are working from home. You will work in an international team comprising of various nationalities.
Your profile
Would you like to make work of your career at ABN AMRO? Then you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related information technology field
- 10 years of experience in administering, managing and tuning Linux servers
- Good understanding of Azure infrastructure standards and concepts
- Good understand infrastructure design, implementation, troubeshooting and maintenance
- 5+ years of experience on Azure, Terraform, Ansible
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and working in a 24/7 environment.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player and flexible
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
