Therefor are looking for a QA engineer within the 'Personal Banking & Digital Channels Grid'. The vacancy is within one of the DevOps supporting teams working on our ABN AMRO app. As a QA engineer in our team you help other DevOps team to improve by sharing your (QA) knowledge with them and actively work on new idea's and improvements in automation and the release processes. You will help our Grid to reach it's end goal, Any Time Release!

Your job

You are part of a multidisciplinary team. On a daily basis you work together with different people, of different cultures and backgrounds. Being mobile developers, QA's but also supporting teams throughout the bank. You're not afraid to reach out, connect and share ideas. You are a confident problem solver, that wants to think outside the box. You are an experienced professional but also curious and open minded in learning new technologies, best practices and help your teammates to grow. With this mind-set and experience you automate testing and processes as much as possible. You'd like to challenge yourself and you are not scared of challenging your peers. If you are still in doubt after reading this; No you are not testing the work for other DevOps teams; you help them to test their own work better and more efficient with a DevOps mindset.

Working environment

Within the Personal Banking Grid (department) at ABN AMRO we are building mobile & web apps for our clients to engage with their financial needs in a personal and innovative way. Examples are the Grip app, the ABN AMRO App and the ABN AMRO Internet Banking website.

Your profile

As a person you are a strong communicator, and someone who can explain and transfer knowledge properly. Whatever happens around you, you will stay calm and keep your head cool in stressful situations. Furthermore, you are someone how likes to try new things and wants to be involved in the matter. Giving and receiving feedback comes naturally to you and you're not afraid to speak up.

Our wishes

• 3+ year's experience in mobile testing
• Familiar with at least 2 of the following tools: AzureDevOps, Xcode, Android Studio, Postman, VPN, Mocking tools
• Experience with mobile test automation tools like Espresso an XUICTest
• Strong communication skills (verbal and writing) in English
• 3+ years' experience in working Agile and/or Scrum
• Experience with at least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, Kotlin, Swift, Ruby
