Bank Assisted Lending (BAL) is responsible for a complete new digital end-to-end customer journey for the credit process. It is an important program within the strategic Future Credit Domain theme. Your job

Your job is to safeguard the regulatory impact of the BAL change initiative. You analyse the changes, mostly in processes and data, and seek understanding of how these changes relate to the policy framework. Your assignment could be to conduct a Material Change Assessment and prepare the consecutive application package. Or, you could be setting up the framework for ensuring structural policy adherence in the future – including demonstration thereof. You will do this in close collaboration with colleagues working on Design & Features as well as Regulatory, Model Owner, Compliance and Business partners. To succeed, you alternate in-depth analysis with continuous liaison on the approach, in order to incrementally reach the desired level of detail and quality.

Amongst others your tasks requires;

  • Ability to read and understand risk management regulation and policies which have to be mapped to data, process, organisation and technology and have to be used for the implementation of regulatory management of the loan life cycles on the business workplace
  • Affinity with the translation/mapping of bank office Risk Modelling requirements to the front office business processes, which is required to support the quantitative and qualitative analysis required for material change assessment and also for the implementation of new front office loan life cycle requirement related to risk rating models.
  • Ability to read and understand risk management regulation and policies which have to be mapped to data, process, organisation and technology and have to be used for the implementation of regulatory management of the loan life cycles on the business workplace.
  • Good analytical skills combined with the ability to coordinate the work within the regulatory team and the regulatory stakeholders. Meaning: ability to balance between analytical activities vs helicopter view required for the reporting to management and stakeholder management.

Your profile

You are interested in topics such as Lending, Regulations, Change and Credit Risk. You understand business and regulatory dynamics across different departments within the bank. You enjoy combining analytical challenges with solid wrap-up and documentation of your results and conclusions. You are persevering in your questioning and able to steer discussions on-topic. You know how to manoeuvre between strict requirements and high-level plans. You take ownership of a challenge and are able to identify and execute the steps required to understand and present business processes from a regulatory point of view. That’s who you are. We are looking for a senior professional with work experience in Banking. If you think your profile fits this list we are looking forward to meeting you:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
- Knowledge of relevant banking processes and products (e.g. corporate lending);
- Experience in the area of Policies & Regulations and/or Credit Risk;
- Skilled in analysing and structuring complex plans, identifying risks and presenting your advice to stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner;
- Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, Agile software development and change delivery;
- Implementation experience for financial services projects. nCino system knowledge or multiple years of Salesforce delivery experience is a plus;
- Self-starter, curiosity for innovation.
