The ABN AMRO–ODDO BHF joint venture is seeking to hire a Financial Advisor Equity Sales. ODDO BHF in partnership with ABN AMRO, BBVA, COMMERZBANK, and Natixis is a leading broker for European equities.

Your job

A job within the ABN AMRO – ODDO BHF Equity Sales franchise provides the opportunity to prove yourself in a challenging international commercial working environment. As an Equity Sales professional you will be expected to:

• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Travel within Europe for marketing purposes
• Obtain extensive knowledge on individual listed companies in Europe, with a special focus on Benelux, via our Equity Research product; formulate an opinion
• Distribute our written research to institutional clients and provide detailed feedback
• Support senior Equity Sales with general tasks
• Organise and host analyst marketing meetings with investors
• Set up and host corporate management roadshows (C-level)
• Support Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions by informing institutional investors on all details related to transactions initiated by ABN AMRO and our partner ODDO BHF
• Generate investment ideas within our research product (e.g. alpha generation)
• Interpret data from research reports and company publications
• Work independently, be pro-active and be a self-starter.

Working environment

The ABN AMRO – ODDO BHF Equity Sales team informs institutional investors in Western Europe on equities under coverage (>650) by the Equity Research teams in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, Lyon & Madrid. The Equity Sales team is based in Amsterdam at the head office of ABN AMRO bank.

• Master degree with above average grades from various academic backgrounds
• Prior 1/3 years of experience in the wider industry (Big 4, Investment Banking, Asset Management, etc.) is a plus
• Strong motivation to work for ABN AMRO – ODDO BHF in Amsterdam
• General knowledge of financial markets/financial reporting/corporate finance/accounting/cash equities
• Client focus
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Fluency in English and/or Dutch
• All required work documents (e.g. Visa for professionals from outside of the EU) need to be arranged by the candidate
• Full time availability and eagerness to travel.
