Your job

Together with the colleagues of the Global Corporate Secretariat, you support and advice AACB´s Management Board, Supervisory Board, Global Management Team and their sub-committees in the execution of their responsibilities. Furthermore, you support the senior management on strategic and other topics, and advise generally on corporate governance and corporate law as the corporate governance expert.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
• organising and preparing the meetings of ABN AMRO Clearing Bank's senior management boards and committees by scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, ensuring that topics are discussed at the right time in the right policy-making body, and ensuring that the information necessary for decision-making is timely delivered;
• minuting meetings and coordinating the follow-up on action points;
• providing input on projects and business as usual activities to shape, improve and execute the corporate governance of ABN AMRO Clearing Bank and its subsidiaries;
• drafting corporate documentations and organising and maintaining corporate records and documents (including all corporate registers);
• coordinating fit and proper testing by relevant authorities for Management Board and Supervisory Board members, and making sure relevant notifications are made to the regulators;
• communicating with internal and external stakeholders on corporate governance matters;
• monitoring and implementing new rules and regulation or relevant internal ABN AMRO policies on corporate governance;
• engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders, both on a formal and informal basis, to ensure all projects and processes run smoothly.

Your profile

You're attracted to the global financial market and enthusiastic with a hands-on mentality. You have a passion for operational and administrative processes. You have the planning and control skills to effectively and diligently deal with (secretarial) matters, and understand the importance of discretion and integrity. You think in terms of what’s possible, see opportunities and take a solutions-oriented approach. You're quick and eager to learn, decisive, show initiative and do not hesitate to take responsibility. You have an eye for detail and the capability to work autonomously. Furthermore, you have:
• A master or bachelor degree in corporate law
• 5-10 years of experience in (corporate) governance and/or legal advisory ~ Re-entering the labor market? We also welcome you!
• Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations for financial institutions is greatly appreciated
• Analytical skills
• Stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (both oral and written)
