Your job
As Data Migration Lead you are part of the Integrations and Data squad, responsible for designing and setting a smooth data migration from legacy systems to the target state solutions. Your role is to develop a practical and detailed approach and for the data migrations. You will make sure that the required data needs from current systems to target state solutions are mapped. Next to that you will ensure data gaps and data quality issues are clearly articulated and understood, by cross workstream alignment.

FS is part of Corporate Banking and is the Credit Engine of ABN AMRO, providing clients from all client segments with the best suited credit solution. FS provides clients with lending exposures EUR >1mln of a credit advice via both standardized as well as expertise driven solutions, and services the corporate lending product portfolio for all exposures from a Grid perspective.
You will be part of the Credit & Collateral Lifecycle grid consisting of five teams (Bank Assisted Lending, Current Program Lending, Current non-Program Lending, Collateral Management and the Valuation Team). The grid is responsible for current and future credit processes and systems, including the credit origination systems KEM and Rapid, Bank Assisted Lending and the collateral lifecycle itself.
You will be working for the two important programs Bank Assisted Lending (BAL) and Collateral Management (Colli) within the Future Credit Domain theme. BAL is responsible for a complete new digital end-to-end customer journey for the credit process and Colli is responsible for the Regulatory Compliant Collateral Management within the bank.
Your profile
- Bachelor / Master’s degree, preferably in technical background (e.g. computer sciences, math)
- 8+ years experience in technology implementation and specifically previous 5+ years experience in data migration
- Preferably experience within credit domain, an understanding of banking, ideally within ABN AMRO
- Experience with multiple ways of data modeling
- Preferably understanding of Salesforce (and/or the nCino) data model
- Knowledge and experience of data migration tooling for mapping and transformation
- Ability to engage key users and stakeholders in defining data migration requirements
- Ability to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out why things happen
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Identifies, documents and validates data migration requirements, technology and IT infrastructure requirements and expectations
- Identifies source data requirements
- Assesses source data quality
- Defines business rules for handling source data
- Identifies, documents and validates target data requirements
- Maps and specifies the required transformations from the source data to the target data
- Validates data migration requirements with key users and stakeholders
