We’re looking for an Experiment Designer / Validation expert / Growth marketeer who gets excited from using both generative and evaluative online experiments to validate and grow our business ideas.

Your job

You’ll be working in the Innovation Design team alongside talented and fun people, and you’ll support multiple of our internal proposition teams with your expertise.

You’ll coach, train and work alongside them to help them identify riskiest assumptions and (in)validate as fast as possible and help them generate insights to shape their product strategy.

Working environment

You will be part of the team Innovation Process & Design. The Innovation Process & Design team empowers innovation teams to generate and execute new ideas. The process with all its elements (stage gated funnel, approach, dareinnovation.com website, training and governance) forms the basis for this. The team consists of 4 main expertise and 2 teams: the Innovation Process team (consisting of Innovation Consultants with expertise in strategic & service design, customer research and go-to-market strategy), the Innovation Design team (with UX- and experiment designers), Innovation Accounting (measuring and reporting the performance of the innovation portfolio) and Innovation Training (translating the Innovation Process & mindset into training modules).

Innovation Process & Design is part of the department Strategy & Innovation (S&I) and reports into the CEO. S&I plays a central role in defining and executing ABN AMRO’s (corporate) strategy and related innovation agenda. The department consist of functional units in Strategy, Corporate Development, Venturing, Group Economics and three innovation related units being Innovation Process & Design, Innovation Technology and Innovation Lab.

Your profile

  • To start, you are an Experiment designer, and you can back this up with data;
  • You are structured, creative, and thorough in your approach and can create output in an agile environment;
  • You master the industry standard tools to make this happen;
  • You are a curious digital native continuously seeking to learn;
  • You understand banking and technology and are not afraid of the high complexity and regulations involved in the finance industry and large corporates;
  • You dare to speak up, receive and give feedback and enjoy working in a fast-paced corporate environment;
  • Expertise in the financial domain is appreciated, interest is a must;
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English is required.
