Your future context

Are you keen to make a difference in guiding your colleagues to support the bank’s sustainable ambitions? Can you handle multiple and complex matters, and do you want to lead the way in sustainable finance solutions regulations? Within our Product Management Team, we are looking for a (Junior) Sustainable Finance Expert.

As Sustainable Finance Expert you will become part of the Product Management-team. The Product Management team has around 6 employees: enthusiastic men and women. There’s not a lot of hierarchy – we get things done together. You and your team work within a global context, together with both the local & HQ product management & sustainability teams, to shape the bank’s sustainability policy and offering. In this project management role, you will create and run project teams with colleagues from Legal, Risk, Compliance, Commercial, Investment center and other departments to accelerate the sustainable transition.

Your future role

As Sustainable Finance Expert you will be responsible for implementing the Sustainable Finance Regulation (SFR) in Belgium. As the first point of contact – expert – for all Sustainable Finance matters, you will take care of implementing sustainable strategies within our current product offering and the support of the product marketing around these topics.

What’s more? You’ll:

be responsible for implementing the sustainable finance regulation within the Belgian Private bank (SFDR, MIFID 2 ESG, NFRD, EBA LOM ESG, ECB Guide, EU Taxonomy). This is a regulatory-driven implementation trajectory that requires close collaboration by the program manager (you) with the 2nd line parties and other stakeholders across the organization.
manage timelines, manage implementation and report on progress towards management
support local and global product managers with the development of a sustainable product offering for the private bank.
monitor the market for developments in this area, build up internal knowledge, and bring together the necessary stakeholders (head-office, 2nd line, Commercial, etc.) to develop a sustainable product offering and strategy.
support the sales organization in bringing to market our sustainable products and services.

Your background, competences and skills

We are looking for a medior project manager with a can do attitude, business sense and excellent social and communication skills. You enjoy working with multiple project teams and are able to deal with an variety of objectives, interests and deadlines.

On your CV:

Knowledge of and experience in the field of sustainable finance & sustainable finance regulation
Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and in writing (we offer support to employees with reading problems such as dyslexia)
You are analytical, goal-oriented with a program management approach
You excel in project management and have good presentation skills

Nice to haves:
Master degree by preference
Good knowledge of French
You are entrepreneurial and take initiative
Experience with change management
You have an advanced knowledge of MSOffice (Powerpoint, Excel, …)
