Information Security Officer New10

For New10, we need a Medior Information Security Officer to help us maintain and succeed in protecting New10 data and networks from outside attacks.

Your job

The Information Security Officer role is an operational one, meaning you will be responsible for managing & updating accordingly the security-related processes and controls. You will plan, implement, upgrade and, monitor security controls as part of the New10 Information Security yearly plan.

Other responsibilities comprise of:

• Participate and assist during security incidents and ensure improvement actions are implemented afterwards (e.g., like the most recent critical vulnerability Log4j)
• Document and support control/business owners to document the security measures implemented (e.g., participate in product/controls design, etc.)
• Assist in the support and preparation of IT systems and applications risk assessments. (e.g., third-party risk management; product / control assessment etc.)
• Maintain all security policies as directed to comply with financial institution regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR; ISO 27001 etc.)
• Assist with the employee security awareness program (e.g. together conduct training for employees; prepare various security events throughout the year)
• Assist with Identity & Access Management program (e.g. role-based access management; physical security; Azure AD etc.)
• Support in stakeholder reporting and internal documenting of these (e.g. various ABN AMRO CISO calls, as well as internal New10 call/reports)
• Align with the central (regulatory) policies, programs, and projects of ABN AMRO.

Working environment

In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Business Information Security Officer. Together, you will be the foundations of the security team.

Requirements
As our perfect candidate:

• You have at least 2-4 years of experience in the cybersecurity field or in related field.
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related IT field.
• You have a minimum of 1-year related experience (or equivalent classwork technical knowledge) of web applications and AWS.
• You are responsible and proactive.
• You are analytical, curious and equipped with data exploration capabilities.

Bonus points if:

• You have a track record in risk & compliance.
• You have any cybersecurity certification.
