Are you an all round DevOps engineer, who not only enjoys programming, but also enjoys architecting solutions to be flexible and extensible using a wide range of available cloud services? Together with the team you will collaborate on new features for our platform, and ensure the features we have built will remain stable, available and maintainable during their lifetime. The coming year our team expects to migrate from AWS to Azure in which you'll be able to play a big part!

Your job

As an IT Development Engineer for the Transaction Insights Platform (TIP) team you will be part of one of the self-organized DevOps teams within the Digital Channel Capabilities (DCC) department of ABN AMRO. As the DCC department we deliver powerful, accelerating and sustainable fundamentals across all our digital channels. Our mission is to create an intuitive, recognizable, and fluent next level experience for all customers and employees. Within this department the, TIP team works continuously to help other departments in the bank in leveraging transaction-information by providing them insights, used to better serve our customers in key-moments of their life. We power the ‘Grip’ app by having customer’s transactions be categorized, labelled and by identifying recurring payments. One more recent use case is the assistance of the next of kin of recently deceased customers by providing them with an overview of their loved one’s finances.

Your profile

• Knowledgeable and/or experienced in developing cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient in an object-oriented language.
• Fluent in English.
• A team-player.
• Pragmatic.
• Experienced in REST API Development.
• Experienced in Ops related work.
• Critical, if the situation requires it.
• Knowledgeable in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD).
• 3+ years of working experience as a Software Engineer
