The importance of information security and fraud detection has strongly increased over the last few years. That is why we are continuously investigating smarter ways to make digital banking as secure as possible. Quite a responsibility! Do you want to play a part in securing our bank and client data? We can really use your knowledge and experience as a DevOps solution engineer in the maintenance and development of our next-gen fraud detection services. With this, you have a direct impact on preventing damages for both our customers, the bank and society.

Your job

As a DevOps solution engineer, you are focused on accelerating and continuously improving the connection of several payment channels to our fraud detection systems. We are taking the responsibility to onboard all payment channels as efficient and effective as possible, in close cooperation with the different DevOps teams.

Do you live for making secure solutions? Are you the person who instantly oversees an application and it’s connections? Is creating solution designs second nature to you? We are looking for someone who is experienced in solution engineering and can also take along others with solid knowledge and experience. We have started 2022 with deciding to renew the architecture of our fraud IT landscape, and we want you to be part of creating that future. It is a very complex environment to operate in; with dependencies on many payment channels within ABN AMRO, a fast-changing fraudster world around us and a large amount of different tooling. We definitely have a match if you are also on top of security principles, methods and models, to make sure the solutions are top-notch.

Working environment

Channel Security is part of CISO, our Corporate Information Security Office. Within CISO, Channel Security is responsible for e-fraud prevention and detection and fraud policy & strategy. When we’re allowed to work from the office again, we will be welcoming you to join in Amstelveen.

Your profile

You will become part of a highly motivated international team, consisting of a diversity of technical experts. We have four teams of DevOps engineers working on the products our fraud landscape, in close cooperation with the fraud experts and data scientists of our department. The responsibility is to ensure availability, performance, scalability and security for our systems. Of course, we want you to have profound technical skills of the services we offer and take responsibility to optimize and innovate these. Within ABN AMRO, we as a department are known to pioneer in the usage of new technologies and tools. You are result-driven, eager to learn and pragmatic.

Skills needed:
• Experience with working Agile / DevOps
• Driven to deliver, capable of working both autonomously as well as in a team
• Pro-active and assertive work attitude
• Communicative with a fluency in English
• And you are an expert on (minimum 5-10 years of experience):
- Solution design
- Requirements engineering
- Application security
- Working in a hybrid cloud infrastructure

You have a valid EU working permit and you are already living in The Netherlands.
