Your job
As Global Mobility advisor your work is focusing on operational excellence on one side and implementing change on the other side. You work together with the team on multiple topics: policy and process development; track best practices in the market, advise on policy and policy interpretation, compliance issues, guarding standards and smooth coordination with all stakeholders. As a trusted and professional advisor you consult business leadership on assignment considerations, assignment cost estimations, balance sheets, and assignment processes at an individual and policy level. As part of the project team, you help design, develop and deliver new and effective solutions in the current Global Mobility framework and provide training to HR professionals on new developments and changes concerning immigration, processes and policies. Foremost, you are the subject matter expert and contact person on all Global Mobility and Immigration topics.
Your working environment
The Global Mobility department used to focus on Expat assignments only and shifts to a more broaden approach of facilitating all international transfers within ABN AMRO Group; ranging from long- and short term assignments to local to local transfers, frontier workers and foreign local hires. For the change around this topic we work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile way. The team, 4 FTE is situated in the HR department People Development and works from our headquarters in Amsterdam.
Your profile
You are a true professional with extensive experience in the world of global mobility and international tax. You know how to use your expertise, advice and communication skills to create value and contribute to the current change the Global Mobility Centre is in. You have a profound understanding of the needs of the business. Being an expert in your field you have no difficulty taking responsibility. You excel at connecting people and building relationships across various levels. You have a pleasant and natural way of influencing others and feel comfortable interacting with all levels, different cultures both within and outside the organisation. You are tenacious, a multitasker, a positive and enthusiastic person with the ability to gain credibility with all stakeholders. With a can-do approach you recognize opportunities and provide solutions.
Do you think you fit? Check your profile:
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field; Tax, Legal or HR.
- Proven experience with Global Mobility acquired through formal education, certification and experience;
- Familiarity with Agile way of working or larger change projects;
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a big four, client facing Global Mobility practice, or a similar role within a large, international and complex organisation;
- Excellent command of the English language, both in speech and in writing.

Salary indication: 55k - 78k all-in gross per year based on a 36 hour work week.
