Your job
You will be part of a dedicated team of experts within the Information and Operational Risk department: the Data, Analysis & Reporting (DAR) team.
The DAR team provides flexible & efficient reporting solutions by means of systematically data management and enables data analysis that supports fact based decision-making and regulatory & strategic risk reporting.
Your responsibilities are:
- Maintaining data management processes to assure data ownership, data quality and data lineage within I&ORM.
- Facilitating demands from users and customers for information and analysis by means of various data sources.
- Participation in various Data Management related initiatives within the bank as representative of I&ORM (e.g. New Top Structure of the bank, redesigning I&ORM source system, datamining, analysis and regulatory & strategic risk reporting)
- You are familiar (or talented) with the bigger picture of Risk Management, how tools are interlinked with regards to Risk Management.
- Visualizing data in an easy to understand way and provide actionable insights to help our risk managers in their daily dialogues with the organization to improve our risk profile.
You know your way around Power-BI, are familiar with scripting (e.g. SQL) and data models and can easily learn new data wrangling tools. Microsoft Office applications do not hold many unknowns for you.

The Information & Operational Risk Management department consists of approximately 130 risk specialists from diverse backgrounds. Our purpose is to “add confidence to the journey” as professionals that deliver concrete, value added advice. Knowledge/Experience:
- Higher education degree (HBO / WO) in the area of Business, IT, Data Analytics or finance
- At least 7 years’ experience in IT/operational risk, finance, data management, regulatory environment or in a comparable relevant field
- Knowledge of Power BI, data modelling, scripting, data wrangling tools
- Affinity with risk management
- Understanding of policies (BCBS239, PERDARR principles), processes, procedures and systems related to reporting capabilities is a plus
- Interacting experience with peers, senior & external stakeholders regarding Data Management
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- University level of thinking and working
