Your job
You are part of the XVA & Risk Management Team, which is part of the Global Markets Dealingroom in Amsterdam. We are the pinnacle within Global Markets. The team is responsible for managing the Cross-Valuation Adjustments (XVAs) and the Risk-Weighted Assets (RWAs) for Global Markets. We are a diverse team with different levels of experience and a broad skillset that brings the XVA Desk further every day. We would like to expand our knowledge and skillset to be future proof and you are the missing link.
So what could you work on at the XVA Desk?
• Make sure all processes run as expected.
• Create data analyses of all trade related data to get new insights that will help our team and Global Markets to fulfil our strategy.
• Improve our IT landscape to steer the desk into the right direction.
• Work on ad-hoc or long-term projects where programming skills as well as financial knowledge is required.
• Collaborate with our stakeholders (Quant, IT, Sales and Trading teams,..).
• Stay informed about financial markets to develop a fundamental understanding of our business.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who loves to dig into code and is passionate about financial markets. You are not afraid to broaden your horizon.
Your profile:
- Quantitative Master Degree (e.g. Computational Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, or related ).
- You have between 1 and 3 years of work experience.
- You have a solid knowledge of programming in Python and a good understanding of working with databases.
- You have an interest in financial markets.
- Valid working permit for the Netherlands.
