Within our Enterprise Risk Reporting team we are looking for an intern who is eager to help develop an enhanced and data-driven enterprise risk report, including the automation of the reporting process and ultimately sourcing of underlying data. Your work will enable management to make informed decisions, prioritize resources and mitigate risks effectively.
As a risk reporting analyst you are, together with the team, responsible for the creation and reporting of the global, regional and local enterprise risk management reports to senior management. You will also be assisting with audits, governance, policy and automation journeys within the ERM Reporting team. The role requires an eye for detail and strong analytical skills. In your role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk management, compliance, IT and operations to standardize and ultimately build automated connections for our risk reporting activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your risk management and reporting skills, while gaining exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives and processes.
Things you will be working on:
- Coordinate and execute the process of creating the ERM Reports for all AACB regions and locations globally and make our reporting efficient and data driven.
- Develop reporting best practices to make our output easy to understand, intuitive, smart and recognizable for management.
- Assisting in improving and streamlining the reporting process.
- Perform a quality assurance role on the data delivery for the enterprise risk management reports.
You will be part of the Enterprise Risk Reporting team which is a part of the Central Risk Management Department. We’re an international team of motivated people who primarily work in a 2nd line risk management role. The Central Risk Management Department consists of the Model Validation team, the Risk Governance & Strategy team and the Enterprise Risk Reporting team.
The ERM Reporting team is a relatively new team which is tasked to revamp the risk reports and reporting process itself to ensure consistent and timely reporting on the Risk Appetite of AACB.
You are a student with an interest in risk reporting, data driven decision making and risk management. You have an analytical mind and can see the big picture, while at the same time you also have attention for the details. You have a strong vision, are pro-active in taking initiatives. You are risk aware, and have a good talent in stakeholder management, and are not afraid to show backbone.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, Information Systems or a related field.
- Team player in a multicultural environment (we use English to communicate).
- Knowledge of process design & process management.
- Affinity of laws and regulations related to risk reporting and risk management.
- Experience with Data analytics and visualization tooling (Tableau or PowerBI) is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages (such as SQL, Python, VBA, R Office Script) is a plus.
