This is your chance! As a recruiter at the I&T Internship Desk, you are responsible for the entire recruitment and selection process for all new interns. The I&T Internship Desk is the place where talent comes in, is screened, interviewed, and hired. It is also the point of contact for managers who have questions about internships.
During your internship period, you will independently oversee the recruitment process for various ABN AMRO internship vacancies. You will specifically be responsible for:
- Drafting and posting vacancies online.
- Screening CVs and cover letters.
- Finding suitable candidates for the vacancies within the bank.
- Maintaining a reliable line of communication with hiring managers.
- Assisting with the onboarding of new interns.
- Using your knowledge and perspective to improve the recruitment and talent acquisition procedures of the I&T Internship Desk.
The I&T Internship Desk is a unique environment - our core team consists of 6-8 driven and sociable HR interns; therefore, person-environment fit is central to us. Collaboration and communication are upheld through weekly meetings that focus on ongoing tasks and updates. Furthermore, there is plenty of room for self-development and university projects, making it an ideal working and graduation internship! You are free to take on projects that interest you; for example, organizing masterclasses, during which you will learn more about the different departments and activities within the bank. Additionally, the I&T Internship Desk is highly involved in the activities of CASt - the Club of ABN AMRO Interns. CASt organizes monthly educational and social events for all interns, allowing you to expand your network.
- You are pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management, Work and Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
- You have a strong affinity for recruitment and curiosity for other HR fields.
- You have excellent communication skills and can speak English fluently.
- You are a team player who is passionate about working with and for people; you easily integrate into new environments.
- You are able to start in late August/early September, 2026.
- You are enrolled at a Dutch university/higher level education for the entire duration of your internship.
- You are available for a minimum of 4 months for an internship of 32-36 hours per week.
- A personal work laptop to support your development and daily tasks.
- An internship allowance of €750 per month (based on a 36-hour work week).
