Working environment

The Corporate Information Security Office (CISO) is at the heart of safeguarding ABN AMRO’s information systems and clients. As part of the Central Data Store Data team, you’ll help us drive data-driven strategies and initiatives. Our team of about 10 members prioritizes collaboration and enthusiasm, ensuring a fun and fulfilling work environment.


Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance our Data Platform.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code automations in Azure.
  • Manage Kubernetes for complex orchestrations.
  • Automate data processing using Databricks.
  • Work on CI/CD pipelines to align with bank standards.
  • Provide operational support and resolve incidents.
  • Implement an orchestration layer to improve our security capabilities.

Your profile

The following requirements are applicable for this job:

Must have hard skills

  • 2+ years experience with Azure components as part of Infrastructure as Code.
  • 2+ years experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • 2+ years experience in building and using CICD pipelines.
  • 2+ years experience in programming capabilities in Python.
  • 2+ years experience working with functional requirements and translating these into technical implementations
  • 2+ years experience with Azure security features, logging and monitoring services.

Must have soft skills

  • Interest in Data Processing and Orchestration with Databricks.
  • Experience in steering DevOps teams towards more Agile way of working as part of the team (CI)
  • An automate everything mindset.
  • Analytical skills
  • Experience working with stakeholders


It would be nice if you recognize yourself in the following requirements:

  • Visionary on the future of data driven strategy.
  • Experience with debugging software, performing impact, root cause analysis, testing, and structural solutioning.
  • Experience working in complex (e.g., regulated and/or enterprise) environments.
