You and your job
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll collaborate with a Scrum team in a scaled Agile environment. Your responsibilities will include reviewing requirement and specification documents, preparing test deliverables (such as test plans, test data, and test scripts), executing manual tests for new features and bugs, and creating and tracking bug records. Additionally, you’ll design, develop, and execute automated integration test scripts. Documenting test results and evidence will also be part of your role. Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies while adhering to Rabobank’s testing standards is essential. You and your talent
Technical savviness, eye for detail and complex problem solving are clearly essential skills for this role of DevOps QA Engineer. Being flexible and taking ownership are basics to create the right mind-set necessary for this function. In addition, it is important that you recognize everything on the checklist below:
- Bachelor degree or higher or proof of being able to work/think on this level.
- Possessing a minimum of 7+ years working experience in software testing.
- Able to share your extensive experience with creation of test (automation) frameworks.
- Demonstrating strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Having participated in international IT projects, with proficiency in the English language. Fluency in Dutch is advantageous.
- Exhibiting curiosity, analytical thinking, proactivity, determination, results-driven mindset, and a willingness to express your opinions and respect others.
- Completed a bachelor or master degree in Information Technology, Economics or similar and an interest in wholesale banking;
- Experience with working with an external IT vendor in a near- or offshore delivery model.
- You thrive by continuously learn new skills and to keep up to date with new techniques.

- a gross monthly salary between €3.711,- and €5.300,- (scale 8 based on your experience, 36 hours per week (40 hours possible as well)).
- 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
- an Employee Benefit Budget (10% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
- an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
- 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
- a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
- a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
- Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
