You and your job

As a Tech Strategy Consultant, you’ll join a dynamic and diverse team where you’ll tackle complex strategic challenges related to the Innovation & Technology domain of Rabobank on a daily basis. You’ll collaborate closely with various experts to find smart solutions that have a direct impact. Both the job content and working with senior managers and executives come naturally to you, and you’ll quickly build a reputation as a trusted advisor and senior level sparring partner. The atmosphere is both result-oriented and informal, with a can-do mentality.

This is a role in the Strategy Consulting team, which is part of the Strategy, Design, Innovation & Transformation (SDIT) division in CITO.

You and your talent

Customer and result orientation, along with strong communication skills and independence, are essential for this role as a Tech Strategy Consultant. Additionally, it’s important that you recognize yourself in the following list:

• You hold a completed WO master’s degree.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment or a prominent consulting firm.
• Consulting is in your DNA and you are comfortable engaging in strategic dialogue at the highest level.
• Affinity with digital, tech, data & analytics, and agile ways of working.
• Demonstrated experience in various strategic projects collaborating with consultants, tech experts, and business experts.
• A solid understanding of relevant trends and challenges in the financial sector, along with proven ability to translate them into actionable steps.
• Ability to translate tech initiatives into compelling business cases, gaining buy-in from business stakeholders for strategic technology investments.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of structuring questions both in terms of content and process.
• Comfortable interacting with diverse groups of senior stakeholders.
• Positive, creative, enjoyable to work with, and driven to improve yourself and others.
• Intrinsically motivated to make an impact not only in business but also in society.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English.

To avoid having to scroll up, what were the benefits again?

• a gross monthly salary between € 4.292,- and € 6.130,- based on 36 hours per week (40 hours is possible) in scale 9.
• 13th month and holiday pay: The holiday allowance and annual allowance are usually paid in 12 equal monthly installments. Once a year, employees have the option to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
• an Employee Benefit Budget (EBB) of 11% of your monthly salary. You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making additional pension contributions, or receiving a monthly cash payout.
• an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then, choose a commuting allowance.
• 172.8 vacation hours per year, including 1 diversity day.
• €450 to set up a home office that meets your needs.
• a monthly € 40,- net work-from-home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
• a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
• an attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%, in December you can also choose to contribute only 3.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
