We are looking for a Business Manager of the Head of Finance & Risk Business Grids.

Your job

As Business Manager of the Head of Finance & Risk Business Grids you are responsible for the substantive and strategic support of the Head of F&RBG and its Management Team. The Business Manager supports the Head of F&RBG in the initiation, development, implementation and monitoring of the teams goals and translates these into activities, projects and plans. You act as a sparring partner of the Head of F&RBG on all possible subjects and you are also responsible for supporting the Head of F&RBG and its Management Team with managerial duties. The Business Manager coordinates the Management Team F&RBG meetings and takes care of the resulting actions. As a Business manager, you are (jointly) responsible for the team’s House in Order (audit, risk, compliance requirements), Culture Plan implementation, HR and Finance related matters, leadership offsites and events, information requests from within and outside the Bank and other F&RBG wide matters or projects. You work together with different stakeholders such as other Risk departments, Finance, HR, Finance/Controlling and Business Units. If necessary, the Business Manager leads processes or project teams.

Working environment

The department Finance & Risk Business Grids deliver Finance and Risk services to its stakeholders i.e Group Finance, Risk Management, Legal and Internal Audit. These services encompass operations and change activities for the departments Accounting and Reporting in Finance, Credit Risk, Central Risk Management, Financial Restructuring & Recovery, Risk Modelling, I&ORM, SIM and Compliance in Risk Management and Legal, Corporate Office and Internal Audit in the CEO domain. These services include system, processes, data and information management & analytics capabilities with in all areas the embedded controls and required documentation.

Your profile

As a Business Manager you must constantly anticipate and respond to changing circumstances inside and outside the bank. Do you recognize yourself in the following:

• You can work independently and can handle working under pressure well;

• You are willing to work flexibly; you don't have a 9 to 5 mentality;

• You often deal with confidential information, so complete integrity is expected of you;

• You are eager to learn and have knowledge of ABN AMRO, Risk Management and the mission and strategy, organisation, culture, products and services;

• You are enterprising, proactive and embrace collaboration; • Stakeholder skills: you make contact quickly and easily; colleagues both inside and outside F&RBG know where to find you;

• At least 3 years of work experience in a banking or consultancy environment;

• University education

• Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, project planning, budget and management information techniques;

• Good command of the English and Dutch language.

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
