Imagine supporting impactful change by investing Private Debt on behalf of large professional investors (e.g. pension funds and insurance companies), ultimately supporting leading European mid-market companies in realizing their sustainable growth ambitions.
You and your job
As an Investment Analyst, you will develop yourself into a leading investment professional. At Colesco we aim to unite capital and purpose and you will be making strategic and sustainable investments. You will be working in small teams of young professionals and seasoned experts, in a competitive and dynamic international environment with professional clients, consisting of Private Equity sponsors, mid-market companies, and large blue chip investors. Together with the investment team, you are involved in sourcing, structuring, and managing private debt investments as well as pitching and execution of investment mandates.
Inspirational practical examples
- Playing a key role in each phase of the origination and investment process and managing the investment portfolio. For example: support in financial, sustainability, and strategic analyses of target companies, conducting due diligence, set up and run financial & valuation models, writing investment papers, support in pitching and negotiations of deal structures and ongoing investment portfolio management;
- As a deal team member you will be in direct contact with leading Institutional and Private Equity investors and their professional advisors, directly contributing to the investment result, while learning and contributing to the continuous improvement of the investment team;
- Be part of an ambitious venture to become the leading sustainable Private Debt asset management boutique. Directly contribute to the fulfillment of this ambition by supporting the management team in acquiring and building relations with professional investors and the development of new investment strategies/solutions.

You will build and maintain a network of PE firms, mid-market companies, and professional advisors. You and your talent
Customer focus, complex problem solving, and an intrinsic drive are essential for this role. In addition, it's important that you recognize the checklist below:
- A Masters degree or equivalent with a strong GPA (please mention in your resume), CFA/VBA or other relevant extra curriculum is a plus;
- Ideally 1-2 years of relevant working experience (for example via internships or as a first job) in e.g. asset management, strategy consultancy, accountancy, investment banking/private equity, leveraged finance or a transaction oriented legal practice;
- Strong communication (fluent in Dutch and English), presentation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
You are focused on learning and contributing to the continuous improvement of yourself and the team and demonstrate:
- A down-to-earth and an open/entrepreneurial mindset with high ambitions;
- A team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;

This is what we offer you
- up to € 4,781 gross per month (scale7 at 40h/week)
- Additionally: thirteenth month's salary, 8% holiday allowance and an extra budget of 10% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion (e.g. salary, pension, holiday hours)

- Position in our Utrecht or Antwerp office with a high degree of autonomy, flexible working hours, and location-independent working (a future assignment to a European office is possible).
