Your job

Figures are provided to the consolidation team within IFRS Reporting from all over the world. You are the permanent point of contact for several ABN AMRO supplying entities. Financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss accounts, cash flow etc.) hold no secrets for you. You have some understanding of intercompany reporting. You analyze the supplied figures and know how to ask the right questions to ensure good monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. You have direct contact with many different stakeholders, which makes for varied work where you can learn a lot. Consider, for example, the Accounting, Controlling, Policies, Tax and ALM departments.

The market places high demands on our reports and so do we. You contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and the reporting chain. For this you will look for answers to important issues in the field of finance, reporting and regulations. As a pro-active self-starter you have room to develop in breadth, but also to go in depth in various areas of interest. This could mean that you also develop into the new expert in the field of reporting on equity, risk, provisions, to name a few. Together we discover where your talent fits best.

Working environment

The Consolidation department consists of 12 employees and sits within IFRS Reporting department. The IFRS reporting department consists of the Consolidation, External Reporting and Sustainable Finance Reporting. You will work within a diverse team with colleagues between 21 and 60 years old with various backgrounds. We are ambitious, enthusiastic, proactive and convinced that there is always room for improvement and like to keep each other sharp. We have an eye for achieving results but do not lose sight of employee satisfaction. Collaboration is a key part of our team environment. Within the team we challenge each other and encourage each other to continuously learn. In addition, we work closely with other disciplines on all kinds of interesting issues in the field of accounting, reporting and IFRS topics.

Your profile

Requirements:

  • You are analytical and strong with figures and know how to communicate clearly about this.
  • You have a good understanding of accounting concepts, consolidated accounting, accounting disclosures and preparation of annual report.
  • You have 3 to 6 years of work experience, preferably in the financial service industry.
  • You have a completed university degree, preferably accountancy or business economics and with IFRS knowledge.
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English language

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.

• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
